The
mission of The Spartanburg Little Theatre is to educate, enrich, and
entertain our community by providing quality theatrical experiences.

Productions
Founded
in 1946, the Little Theatre presents four productions during its regular
September-May season as well as special and summer productions. Most
productions are performed at the new David W. Reid Theatre in the
Chapman Cultural Center, 200 East St. John St. Click

Auditions
Most
auditions and rehearsals and most board and committee meetings are also
held at the Chapman Cultural Center. For additional information on

Classes
The
Theatre also offers theatre classes for adults, sponsors internships in
technical aspects of theatre and arts management, and is the parent
organization of the
Spartanburg Youth Theatre.
Staff and Volunteers
The
Little Theatre and Youth Theatre are both largely volunteer
organizations. They retain a professional staff of five and
use professionals such as guest directors, musical directors, musicians
and choreographers.
